ECtel Joins Forces With ESI for the Launching of XpertViewTM
PETAH TIKVA, Israel, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- ECtel Ltd. (Nasdaq: ECTX - news)
today announced that a cooperation agreement has been signed with ESI Expert
Solutions International which will produce XpertViewTM, ECtel's newest
software application, a revolutionary tool complementary to the QualiViewTM,
an in-service, non-intrusive monitoring system in the Quality of Service (QoS)
family of products.
XpertViewTM is a powerful application that runs batch processes on the
outputs of the original QualiViewTM, and by implementing a sophisticated
rule base engine, it correlates collected information, enabling
telecommunications service providers to produce a list of the most important
problems in their networks.
This application is capable of detailing how it
arrived at its conclusions, and provides recommendations to correct the
problems.
Aharon Shech, President & Chief Executive Officer of ECtel Ltd. commented:
"While our main focus is to provide our loyal customers the most innovative
and comprehensive solutions for the monitoring of their networks, we are
striving to make these solutions as effectual as possible so as to assist our
customers to best maintain the quality of their networks with the least amount
of human resources, thus positively affecting their bottom line.
This
powerful tool was overwhelmingly received at its demo presentation at the
Annual Technical & Planning Symposium held in Tel-Aviv last week, and from
this feedback, we expect the first commercial sales in Q/4 of 2000."
He
continued:
"We are elated to have achieved such a collaboration, which we are
sure will be another milestone in ECtel's commitment to success."
Yoram Romem, President & CEO of ESI Ltd. commented:
"We are very proud to
cooperate with ECtel, to provide embedded knowledge-based decision-making
solutions.
Our technology enables vendors of business tools to easily upgrade
their products with a 'Knowledge Wizard,' thus providing their customers the
benefit from additional 'wisdom' and 'experience' on their side."
He
continued:
"It is ESI's strategy to embed our technology in products of
partners such as ECtel.
This cooperation is another milestone and a typical
example of the win-win situations we create with our partners."
