Magic Software Enterprises Names David A. Cropper Vice President of Sales for Its North American Operations
Former Remedy Sales Exec Brings Extensive E-Commerce, CRM and Leadership Experience to Position
IRVINE, Calif.- (BUSINESS WIRE)- Magic Software Enterprises (Nasdaq:MGIC - news), a leading provider of
state-of-the-art technology and business solutions, Tuesday announced
the appointment of David A. Cropper as vice president of sales for its
North American operations.
Cropper, who has extensive experience managing sales of e-commerce
and customer relationship management (CRM) business solutions, is
expected to play a key role in expanding Magic's competitive position
in both the United States and Canada.
Cropper, who began his career as an account manager with Digital
Equipment Corp. more than 15 years ago, most recently was employed by
Remedy Corp., an established provider of help desk and other CRM
business solutions.
During his tenure with Remedy, Cropper grew revenues by more than
70 percent, building the company's southwest regional sales force from
scratch and establishing a highly successful e-commerce sales model
that led to closure of the company's first e-procurement deal.

Prior to joining Remedy, Cropper also held sales management
positions with Centura Software Corp. (Gupta), Software AG of North
America and Pilot Executive Software. Cropper, who graduated cum laude
from Ohio University, holds a master's of business administration
degree from Pepperdine University. He will work out of Magic's Irvine
office, reporting directly to Inbar.
