Magic Software Enterprises Enters Strategic Alliance With Publicis Networks GmbH
Companies to Work Together To Bring Technological Superiority to Enterprises In the Areas of eCommerce, CRM and WAP
IRVINE, Calif.- (BUSINESS WIRE)- Magic Software Enterprises (Nasdaq:MGIC - news), a leading provider of state-of-the-art technology and business solutions, Monday announced that it is has entered into a strategic alliance with Publicis Networks GmbH (Publicis), the international Web agency network of The Publicis Group, one of the world's top five advertising organizations.
Under the terms of the alliance, Magic Germany and Publicis will engage in joint sales and marketing activities, as well as provide technical support to one another, to enable companies in Germany to build or expand upon their Web-based capabilities.
Publicis (http://www.publicis-networks.com), which has offices in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, London and Paris, provides companies integrated, local and international Internet solutions, including business concept; online brand management; WAP, interactive TV and Web site creation; and online marketing and communications. It is a subsidiary of The Publicis Group, which became one of the top five international advertising agencies with its purchase of Saatchi and Saatchi in June 2000.
Currently, Publicis provides support to several international customers, including Hewlett Packard, Canon, British Telecom, Ericsson, the European Central Bank, Zurich Insurance, Whirlpool, Renault and Nestle, among others.
Working together, Magic Germany and Publicis will engage in joint sales and marketing activities, as well as look for opportunities to incorporate Magic e-commerce and customer relationship management (CRM) applications and wireless technology, into overall customer solutions targeted at increasing returns on investment and improving competitive positioning via the Web. In addition, Publicis will use Magic's superior back-end business logic to further enhance the quality of its Web development work.
