ATLANTA, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- CoreTech Consulting Group, Inc. (CoreTech), a leading Professional Services firm focused on business and technology change in today's e-business marketplace, announced today the addition of two skilled IT professionals to its staff in Atlanta. Ken Avery will act as a Practice Leader for e-commerce and Applications, while Andrew Farris joins CoreTech as Business Development Manager for the Southeast Region.

Avery's e-business experience includes working on the core product development for MicroHelp and RAM Mobile Data (now BellSouth). His product team's accomplishments received praise from publications such as PC Magazine, Windows Magazine, PC Week and CNET. In addition to designing numerous software applications, Avery also co-authored a user's guide for a commercial Java RAD Development Tool.

Avery's most recent position was Web Architect and Manager of Internet Application Development for Delta Technology. Avery led the technical components of Delta's e-commerce site redesign and Web applications.

As CoreTech's Practice Leader in e-commerce applications, Avery will be responsible for implementing technology solutions in the Southeast Region and will also serve as lead architect.

Farris brings experience in selling, developing and managing e-business solutions. He established ZLAND, Inc.'s Atlanta office where he targeted FORTUNE 1000 companies with ZLAND's portfolio of Web solutions. In addition, he previously worked as a sales consultant for One WebSystems, Inc., where he assisted with lead generation and strategic business partner development.

At CoreTech, Farris will work with the company's new business clients to determine the best e-business strategies for them, employing an optimum mix of emerging technologies such as knowledge portals for Web asset management, Internet, Extranet and Intranet capabilities, e-commerce applications and business process infrastructure.

"With its long history of helping clients in diverse industries integrate new technologies, CoreTech considers itself extremely fortunate to be able to leverage the considerable talents of both Ken and Andy," said David Moore, president and chief executive officer of CoreTech.
