Mainsoft Selects Top Industry Executive to Complete Management Team

William Meyer Appointed Chief Financial Officer of ePorting Company

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Mainsoft Corporation, the e-porting company, today announced the appointment of William E. Meyer as the company's chief financial officer. In this role, Meyer will be responsible for all finance, legal and operational functions of the company. Meyer will also serve as a critical asset to the business development and sales teams in creating strategic licensing agreements and solidifying channel relationships.

"Bill's expertise as a financial officer in fast growing, private and public software companies, will prove essential in this exciting period for Mainsoft," said Yaacov Cohen, Mainsoft's chief executive officer. "His proven leadership in driving profits, developing infrastructure, and executing strategic transactions will be key as Mainsoft continues to successfully deliver cost-cutting, multi-platform solutions to our blue-chip base of customers."

Meyer brings an impressive background of financial experience to the Mainsoft team. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and CFO of inSilicon Corporation (Nasdaq: INSN - news), a publicly held developer of semiconductor intellectual property, where he was instrumental in managing the company's initial public offering in March 2000 -- an offering that raised more than $40 million in capital. Prior to his tenure at inSilicon, he served as vice president of finance and CFO of Phoenix Technologies Ltd., a publicly held, multi-national developer of systems software, and vice president of finance of Microprose, Inc., a developer of entertainment software that was acquired by Hasbro in 1998. "Mainsoft is poised for strong growth, and building a solid financial foundation is vital to managing the planned expansion," Meyer said. "The company's strong industry positioning, customer relationships and executive team were key drivers in my decision to join Mainsoft."

About Mainsoft

Mainsoft Corporation, the e-porting company, enables businesses to use the power of the Windows development environment, to develop applications once and deploy them to multiple operating environments simultaneously. Through its patent pending, remote development technology, Mainsoft is changing the way people develop applications such that cross platform issues are addressed during the application development cycle, rather than as an afterthought during a separate, "porting" process.

Headquartered in San Jose, Calif., with offices in Boston, Washington D.C., London and Israel, Mainsoft's solutions help the Fortune 1000, including e-businesses, ISVs, corporate enterprise developers, government agencies and OEMs. In 1999, Crystal Systems Solutions Ltd. (Nasdaq:CRYS - news) formed a strategic alliance with Mainsoft that enabled Mainsoft and Crystal Systems Solutions to leverage synergistic business opportunities in the corporate IT marketplace.
