Magic Software Enterprises Receives IBM Server Proven Certification for Its Magic eDeveloper And Magic eMerchant Offerings
Products Run Smoothly, Quickly And Reliably
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2001--Magic Software Enterprises, Ltd. (Nasdaq:MGIC - news), a leading provider of state-of-the-art application development technology and business solutions, today announced that its Magic eDeveloper(TM) and Magic eMerchant(TM) offerings have received IBM's ServerProven® Certification, designed by IBM to help its customers easily identify complete solutions for their business-critical e-business needs.
The IBM ServerProven program is limited to IBM PartnerWorld members, who must complete a rigorous testing and evaluation process before their offerings will be certified. All certified products are validated to install quickly, start up easily and run reliably on IBM servers.
Both Magic eDeveloper and Magic eMerchant have been certified on all of the Intel platforms, including Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
Magic eDeveloper is Magic's unique development environment that allows the rapid creation and customization of large-scale and complex distributed applications, including interactive Web applications. Magic eMerchant is a highly customizable e-business platform that combines an industrial-strength e-business solution for supply chain management with a powerful virtual order center.
